If you take the high country double up to the top of Waterville and then hike to the little used trail called upper express, the trail is quite erie, always ungroomed, and the remains of the summit quad and lift shack are right in the middle of it.

There hasn't been any major updates on the Waterville Expansion for a while, but I am sure we'll be hearing more come december when the projects begin.

Not that I agree with it, but Waterville Valley captured the #12 spot, a huge advancement for them. They haven't been in the top 20 for a few years.

The only reason killington opened first last year was because SR allowed it. It was a respectful gesture after hurricane Irene. It wont happen again.

I think it would make a ton of sense to do what they are doing at bretton woods this summer over there on burnt.
