Bromley vs Stratton vs Magic ... You have to choose

Awesome thread! Nothing like a comparison to bring out the passion... The Magic lovers definitely win for passion. Bromley appears to the obvious choice for my crew....but have to try Magic if the small ones stay home one day. Sold! Sent from my iPad using AlpineZone mobile app

Bromley vs Stratton vs Magic ... You have to choose

Excellent feedback folks! I am thinking Bromley for kids camp and one extra day thinking they will enjoy a day there after camp... So probably Tuesday-Weds, then Thursday at Magic... If it snows, otherwise Stratton. Sent from my iPad using AlpineZone mobile app

What's it like skiing in the rain?

Well, it was indeed a light drizzle today at Bell...fog at the summit...soft snow as many people relayed. I enjoyed it, the soft snow and empty mountain! It was a pain wiping the goggles constantly, but I survived. My waterproof pants, gloves and Gore tex jacket did the trick till the gloves...

One ACL surgery... One missed season... One great day!

I've been waiting since Feb 2013 to strap on the skis. Sitting out last season after an ACL surgery in Fall, it was killing me driving my kids to the slopes every weekend and waiting at the bottom. Finally! I got out there at Windham today and it was heaven.... It didn't matter how the snow...

Finding REAL REVIEWS is harder and harder for skis, snowboards, and gear. Opinions??

I'm in. Being an obsessive research shopper, I know exactly what's needed and it isn't out there. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Finding REAL REVIEWS is harder and harder for skis, snowboards, and gear. Opinions??

It's not realistic to demo everything yourself. I want a review of a movie before I see it. I want to see what people say about a resort or mountain before I go. User reviews, like TripAdvisor or Amazon are probably they must useful, it's just that no ski site has become the must go destination...

    Camelback 1/30/14

Thanks all. We followed the crowd and threw our crap on top of the lockers. It worked out fine. Camelback should provide more benches in the locker area, half the people are hopping in place to change. Also, very disappointed that they don't offer free wifi for parents who don't ski but have to...

    Hunter Mountain - March 24th

Was at Hunter today. Sounds like the same conditions. Snowed lightly all morning into the early afternoon so there was some powder up top . I'm not the diamond cruiser, so, I won't bore you folks with my exploits. It was the first time ever at Hunter. For the first timer, the signage on the...
