one of my 2 Motorolas died (not rechargable) i am looking to get 2 more (rechargables) any suggestions??

I like the Motorola t6500. They are rechargeable, have good range and also can receive NOAA weather broadcasts.

Why with all the new fancy cell phone repeaters (see thread: connected) who needs radios. You can just pitch a tent, set up base camp, log into the sattellite and instantly connect to your buddies cell phone who will then also have to set up base camp, log into the sattelite and now you can finally talk. The best part about this is that you can do it right in the middle of the trail, right next to that group of boarders waiting to hit the jump next to the snow gun.

just got the radios (T6500)...very nice, only thing is they dont fit in the recharging dock very well.....will really get a chance to put them to the test this weekend
