Hoping for 75+ days this season. School schedule won't allow for as much skiing time as I hoped it would

As UVM alum who skied 50-70 days a season during my time there, 75 is plenty. You ski more than that and it will more than likely detract from your education.

I never got anything close to that at UVM. I had too much of a work load to get a heck of a lot of days unless it was semester break. I used to mount skis the rush weeks around Christmas to get pro form and earn the pocket money to pay for pro form gear so probably half of my skiing most years happened in January.

well, it did take me an extra semester to graduate.....

I was able to ski that much because every spring semester I would either schedule classes on Tues / Thurs (preferable) or M, W, FRI. I also lived in Stowe for my last four semesters there, which made it easier.

That said, I definitely could have applied myself more to school.

Yup..I was usually in the 50-70 range...I made sure to have my car up for 2nd semester Freshman year..my grades were mediocre but I went to UVM due to the proximity to skiing..

I'm prolly going to have a similar hit list for PA, VT like last year. I'd like to get to Maine and White Face this season. I'm rethinking the ski club trips and going it alone instead with trips out west with an eye towards doing some storm chasing and getting the goods rather than locking in a future date and having a hit or miss conditionswise. Nice runon sentence. :(

Mostly Sunday River. A couple days at Sugarloaf, and a couple nights at Shawnee Peak. I hope to try Saddelback this season too.

I have never skied in Vermont and would like to take a trip some day and hit Mad River Glen, Sugarbush, Stowe, and Jay Peak. Not sure if it will happen this season though.

It is going to be tough for me surpass last year, but I also said that last regarding the season before,

This year...

Dec: Either Stowe or Steamboat the second weekend in Dec.
January: Jackson Hole
Feb: Stratton for demos, MRG the following week
Mar: Not sure
April: Stowe ESA
May: A-Basin

I am sure I will be doing some weekend trips to Vermont in there along with CAD's that we will be setting up for demos in Poc's.

After discussing a few of the ski club trip options this morning, wife wants to go to J-hole (she suggested it outta the blue) cuz she thinks it's southwestern, I guess a few pieces of turquoise jewelry, saddle bar stools and cowboy hats could give her that impression. Gonna take her there for her b-day for 4-5 days end of January. Hopefully, she doesn't look at a map of the US. :) 09-10 season is slowly taking shape. Stoke level at 4.8.
