I only looked three times. Monkeys firs time. Second time nothing. Third time, nice butt shot of a few deer. I kept waiting for some lion to take out the deer.

Got almost a 360 degree pan yesterday- there's a lodge about 1/4 mile to teh left of the hole, and a road that comes out to the right of the big tree straight across. Hyenas are at the hole all teh time, but I doubt we'll see any large predators with the house right there.

I finally saw two giraffes last night. As soon as they came on I got two phone calls with excited friends telling me to check it out. i swear we have lives..:???:

i get no video, just intermitent sound. I hear birds in the backgroud and planes flying overhead

last time i checked, windows media player isnt used for live web cams, but recorded video (this thing is probably at Disneys Wild Animal Kingdom!!!)

OK, I used VLC media player and it worked.......kinda, I got video but the sound cut out after like 5 seconds, I think its just cuz I have a bad sound card though.....

O well forget it!! I only saw a single bird anyways

The video on the linked feed is about 30 seconds behind the video on africam.com, so it's probably being recorded and replayed. The link's advantage is smaller size, and no ads.
