 ....How is that shoulder? Ready for some skiing?

I can't seem to find the right surgeon that takes my insurance. There's two ways to approach this. I can get some screws and wires to hold everything in place .... or, there are some surgeons out there that will use cadaver tissue and fix it like an acl injury. I want the latter of these two. So, If I can't find the right guy within the next week or so, I'll wait until next summer. .... and yes I'm ready for some skiing.

Yeah well it's either cadaver tissue or part of my hamstring. That would really slow ski season down, I would imagine.

My right knee has cadaver ligaments that replaced my ACL and PCL. The knee functions better than before surgery.

So, when I say my bedtime prayer, I always mention the unknown soul who was good enough to donate their body parts to medicine.

Quite the opposite of creepy, I feel priviledged to have that person's ligaments working inside my knee.
