HENNIKER, New Hampshire — Pats Peak announces its annual Octoberfest and Ski and Snowboard Sale on Sunday, November 6, 2005 from 11am to 6pm. Admission is Free to one of the biggest Octoberfest celebrations in the State of New Hampshire, which includes authentic German food, live music from King Ludwig's Bavarian Band, chairlift rides, kids’ activities, woodsmen show, NH Cowboy Mounted Shooting Demo, and rich decorations to put guests in the spirit.
Harpoon Brewery sponsors the event and Mountain Dew, provides entertaining inflatable rooms slopeside. "This is the place to be to celebrate fall and get excited about the winter season by riding the chairlift to the top of the mountain," says Jim Wall, Pats Peak Events Director. "Even if you don’t ski, it’s a great opportunity to take in the gorgeous views and be part of a superb party."
Sunday, November 6, 2005 is the last day to purchase Pats Peak Season Passes at a $40 discount. After the event, the price for an Adult Season Pass goes to $349 from $309, and the price of a Junior Season Pass goes to $249 from $209. Other season pass options are available. The annual Ski and Snowboard Sale is an opportunity to buy and sell new and used ski and snowboard equipment with a portion of the benefits going to the Pats Peak Ski Club, a non-profit organization benefiting junior alpine racers. Drop off times for equipment to sell are from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, November 5, 2005 and again on Sunday, November 6, 2005 from 8am to 10:30am. The sale hours on Sunday are 11am to 3pm.
