water water everywhere and not a drop to drink

I did a bit of measurement on my sump pump input and output over this last rain event.
Interesting numbers reveal:

Water inflow to the sump was 360 gallons per hour at the peak.

If not removed, it would accumulate one inch per hour in my 600 square foot basement.
In 12 hours, one foot of water = 4,488 gallons, 37,200 pounds.

4 years ago in the bad October rainstorm my dad recorded 7" in less than 18 hours that Friday into Saturday in addition to the 7" he had from earlier in the week across a couple days.
