I like the principle behind the materials, but I think I will just use a regular helmet anyway. They look much better in my opinion.

What would the advantage of that be over a "traditional" helmet? I think, a helmet, esp the newer bicycle-like ones (ie .giro 9 etc.) would do a much better job at breathing with the vents and all.

I think it would play a better role in protective clothing, ie. ski racing suits, body armor type stuff.

They already use it in racing suits, and are working on military applications.
I like them because the material is cool, and one would fit into my bag better than a helmet, which isn't terribly packable.
