A sign of opening for Wachusett?

Look closely at the webcam and you will see the gun next to the bridge is on. They typically start that just 2-3 days before opening. A sign? I think they'll open one week early this Friday.

Last year, they barely had that area covered.

I'm surprised they're not open already.

A Crowley told me last year that if "...the ground's cold, the forecast looks to stay cold, we can cover one trail, top to bottom in 24 hours."

For the most part, that's what they did last year.

They'll be up and running before you know it. They could be skiing a week after K-Mart!

Do you think there's even a chance of them opening this week? Their site still says November 26th even though it looks like the entire trail is covered now.

I haven't talked to anyone out there, but I wouldn't be surprised if they opened next weekend.
