Since moving upstate I lost my reliable maine medical cannabis delivery guy, so I’ve pivoted to mostly shopping at Vermont rec dispos. Pretty pleased with the quality and price. $150-200 ounces of pretty reliably excellent flower. I still won’t touch NYS rec products tho.

In ten years I've gone from drinking basically every day I ski and smoking any time offered, to basically 100% sober while skiing.
However, I was never all that big into smoking or edibles while skiing because I find it wasteful. The act of skiing knocks a weed buzz right out of me.

Booze I'm coming up on nearly 3 years totally without. Doing the occasional dry month thing eventually resulted in total abstinence, which I wasn't really setting out to do. I really do think people underestimate just unhealthy alcohol is. I certainly did for decades until I started taking the occasional break.

Still love my edibles

Growing weed is so inexpensive and easy I don't understand why so many people buy weed. I haven't bought any in almost 20 years.

Hey Kusty, Was wondering if you saw or picked up if any of the Vermont rec dispensary's offer the ability to split a full OZ. Say 2 half's or better yet 4 (1/4's)?

Vermont allows bulk. You can get whatever you want measured from a giant jar that you can see and smell. Much less pre packaged underweight garbage.

Time effort space. Would not want outdoor and indoor is expensive to light properly. I’d rather pay someone professional to provide me with a product I enjoy than deal with producing it myself.

A good hydro system is mostly autonated, you can get away with spending a half hour a week of actual time working on it. The only thing that does truly suck and takes time is trimming. And what's wrong with outdoors? Unless your neighbors are growing male plants there is nothing to worry about. You just don't get all the crystals as the rain washes them away. I can get 1.5# out of a single outdoor plant.

Maybe I’ll give it a go this spring but really probably not. It’s never ever been an option for me as a tenant in nyc apartments for the past 20 years

I guess it's different reactions for different people. I don't know but it seems a little smoke and I relax and get a little more aggressive in my skiing and actually lose a little fear (not to the point of riskiness but I do get a little bolder). Drinks on the other hand I leave for the apres ski. Have never been comfortable drinking and skiing.

This has changed a lot in the last 10 or so years. I grow a bunch of species of carnivorous plants indoors, which are all high-light species. With the LED lights, the set-up was crazy cheap (< $100), and the LEDs even running all night long really don't cost that much in electricity. My lights are cheap Chinese crap, and the plants still thrive. I'm sure if you spent $300 - $400 on really good lights the results would be even better.

I grew weed for a few years and had great results with having zero prior knowledge. I never even grew a vegetable but I had 2 plants every year that produced so much. I was giving it away to whoever would take it.

I stopped smoking and moved on to gummies so the disperies are essential for getting those. I find a 5 mg gummy is just perfect for day on the hill.
