I guess the "best" thing you can say about the Nov/Dec #'s vs the October record numbers is that our decreases in posts MUST be attributable to an INCREASE in on-hill time!

It's been a while since I updated this so here you go:

Obviously, these stats only reflect post and thread counts since we converted from phpBB to vBulletin. Looks like we logged the most number of posts ever in September:

New Posts

Even if you take GSS's 1K or so posts out of September's total, we still bested September 2006 by several thousand posts. We're also on track for over 9K this month!

From October 1, 2007 - July 31, 2008:

Last month's new thread total was better than September 2006, but no where near the number of new threads we see during the mid-season:

From October 1, 2007 - July 31, 2008:

July 2008 totally crushed July 2007 with 2.7 times the number of posts, and 8.3 times the number of new threads. :-o July is historically the slowest month for obvious reasons. We start the turn back up now! Great job all! :beer:

As much as I hate to admit it, indeed your posting frenzy seems to have had an impact on the September numbers. Kind of scary though that you made probably over 10% of all the total posts made last month.

With those kinds of stats, "Post Whore" just doesn't seem to capture all that is GSS! We need new terminology to classify this new phenomenon, like "Post Air-Tight Wench" or something! :idea:
