She was the daughter of the founders of Pico. Like the Cochran's, she grew up skiing everyday. Biggest irony is that her family was in the ski biz and she ended up to be a very big environmentalist against development of mountain areas. But then again in the day folks like Roland Palmado, etc. were in the biz for the mountain and not so much the commercialism aspect.
