Any AZ hikers gonna try skiing this season?

Just curious if any of the hiking forum regulars are gonna give downhill skiing a whirl this season...

Nope, My other hobby (bowling) occupies most of my winter. I do cross-country ski at a golf course nearby but that's my limits to skiing.

No, the downhill sections are the ones that do me in. I tried the Beaver Brook loop near Twin Mountain in years past and found the downhill sections made me quite nervouse for fear of kissing a tree in a knuckleheaded freefall. Not my idea of fun. Just give me a flat golf course with and a not so windy day and I'm happy. Perfect way to releif the stress of leaving too many ten-pins the night before

Not Candelpins? I grew up bowling 10-pin and moved to NH and learned about Candlepin.
