Strongly considering it in March; a guys trip to South Lake Tahoe. I notice Heavenly isn't reporting nearly the totals Kirkwood is. I need to check the Squaw totals...it'll be hard to stay away from there and confine myself to the south side.

Lovin watching the snow pile up out west. Spoke to some guys who had been to Utah and they said they needed it. Going in late March so pile it on.:snow:

Right where I want to be
Of course I went to Tahoe last year! These are the kind of storms they get but it may not snow again for a month. But I hope for all who ski there that it will. When I went it was in between the big storms. Still very fun!

Kirkwood is sick. I has a pass there and skied it a lot when I lived out there last year. I got there once during a 2 foot dump last year. It was insane. I was getting fresh powder all day long. Even on my last runs I was able to get insane snow.

So wish I could be there now!

On a side note a good friend of mine who lives out there and has a Kirkwood pass picked this week to go out the Colorado to ski at Vail!

Vail is skiing pretty decent right now I think although I can't see ever leaving Kirkwood to ski Vail. He should be in a car going to Wolf creek. They are over 60 inches and still counting. 105 inch base is pretty good for January!

I'm going south on Tuesday fosho!

I'm heading to South Lake on Feb 20th for our annual 2-week Lake Tahoe excursion. Will definitely be skiing Kirkwood along with the other Squaw, Alpine, and am 100 yards from the Heavenly Tram.

Kirkwood always sees more snow out of the Sierra pattern than Heavenly, Squaw, and Alpine. Heavenly reported 4.5 feet in the same time as Kirkwood. Problem is that all of the areas get slammed with wind holds when the snows come in.
