I was wondering if anyone on here has been around ascutney yet this year. They claim to have made many improvements in snowmaking, which would be nice to see considering they usually only turn on 5-10 guns tops at one time.

I live 20 miles north, but ironically have not heard or seen anything from them. Plenty of snow on the ground though around here.

Around how much? I live in New Jersey but own a condo on the mountain. On the ride up it always seems there is a lot of snow when driving past bromley but the amounts seem to get less and less the farther north I travel.

Also not suprised about hearing nothing about them. Thier advertising and marketing are horrible, but it doesn't affect me considering I've only been in a lift-line twice in the past ten years. (Christmas weekend when the quad is not open) Also contributing to the lack of a lift line is their lack of a good terrain park, keeping the teenagers away for the most part.

Hey...I forgot to say welcome to the boards  If you are an Ascutney regular, we'd appreciate your input as to things happening there, news, etc. considering that they "forgot" about the AZ Challenge this year

I'd say we have a good 10-12 inches on the ground here in WRJ/Wilder. Not quite enough for snowshoeing...I don't know what they got down there...I know they are in a shadow from Killington.

i live about 15 miles away from Ascutney, I can see it from my house. Looks like they got about the same amount that we have, plus the man made snow. Weve got about 7 or 8 inches right now.
