Anyone rent condos?

I was looking into staying in the Attitash area for a few days and never having spent much time there, I learned of the abundance of condo communities there. This got me to wonder how popular they were to rent and the pros and cons when compared to spending a night or two (or more) in any one of the local inns or hotels.

Anyone have any experience with staying in any of the condos? Can you let me know what they're like?

I also started wondering about buying one, if it makes financial sense, but didn't know if it would be worth my while.

I rent my condo at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire.

It has been a good investment --but mostly because I bought at the bottom of the housing market back in 1999. The sad truth is, if I don't take into account the increase in property value due to the booming real estate market, I've actually been losing money on the condo every year. Then again, I use the condo myself quite a bt so there's some intrinsic value there.
