Looking for last minute condition report from Bell/Windham/Plattekill, which all have “flex ticket” tomorrow for <$50.

Report from southern VT is encouraging. Snowmaking seemed to produced enjoyable conditions on groomers.

But the Cats are half the drive time for me. So if conditions are ok’ish, I’d save myself the extra hour (each way) driving for a one day trip.

BTW, Of the 3, who has better snow making?

It's probably a little late, but I was shocked at how well Windham skied yesterday. The snow guns were lit up on half of the West Peak. I was stunned how much snow they were making. Lots of edgable stuff. There were definitely plenty of spots with boiler plate, but not nearly as much as I was expecting.

I keep wondering why does it always look like on the webcams that Windham's empty and Hunter's packed? Am I missing something?

I would say that yesterday, Windham was comfortable. There were plenty of people, but I never felt like I waited too long in line and I was able to get a seat in the lodge during lunch.

Windham is my go to "daytrip" mountain so I've skied there plenty over the years. I've been there when the lines at A and G lift were huge. Yesterday wasn't that. It wasn't empty either.

Belleayr isn’t too bad either. Especially for my purpose of breaking in my new boots! ;)

By the time I was satisfied with how my boots were working, a lot of the trails had gotten kind of scraped off. Still, I was able to find snow to turn on.

The crowd weren’t too bad either. Much of the time, the upper mountain lifts were skied right on. Even the gondola line, while looks long, moved swiftly.

I was dressed too lightly so was barely warm enough. Couple with new boots, couldn’t stay out too long. Stills, I’m happy for the day.

Because the cam is trained on the popular 6 pack.. Not the lifts that get less traffic.
I literally didn't wait in any lines all weekend longer than maybe 5 people. I had a couple people with me that never skied Hunter - they were amazed when I walked them past the 6Pack over to the lineless D lift...
