Root, if it wasn't for the goatee, I wouldn't recognize you...I have a handy dandy tape measure which doesn't lie..waist is sitting at 39 inches right now yet my 38 inch pants are loose, but I read that most pants are larger at the waist than what they say..

July 14th and we haven't hit 80 degrees in Portland since May 22nd. That makes for a good summer in my book! I do enjoy summer activities, but HATE the heat.

Not to mention, the days are getting shorter, the buyers guides will be coming soon, and we are almost halfway through the offseason. Halloween can't get here fast enough!

That is pretty amazing! I knew it was cool back there but had no idea that cool. I too like it around 70 in the summer.

Yeah, it rained for almost a month straight, which got old, but it has been nice for the last few days and highs only in the 70's. Highs are only forecasted to be in the 70's for the next 7 days too, with lows in the lower 50's. Lower 70's and sunny is the perfect summer weather, in my opinion. I would be happy if we didn't hit 80 all summer!

I did something today that I never have before. I actually subscribed to Ski, Skiing, and Powder. I'm not sure where free subscriptions were at and since moving I want to make sure I don't miss out on the gear guides.

I've subscribed to Ski for a while now. Find any good deals on Skiing and Powder? I was looking today but didn't see any (not that the 10 or 11 dollars is gonna set be back much).

Just the usual 10 bucks, not gonna sweat it. I usually get them for free from going to Warren Miller and/or my season pass. Powder I haven't subscribed to since the early 90s.
