Hi all,
I'm guessing that these are two boards that have been discussed quite a bit here before, but now I'm faced with a decision.
It looks like I'll be moving back West for a job and the reward to myself is a new pair of boards. I can get deals on the Sugar Daddy or the Prophet 100 (both from last season) as well as a couple of other skis, but I'd say that these are the front runners.
I skied the Sugar Daddy a couple years back when it was still a system and enjoyed them. However, I'm a little concerned with the "densolite" core (WTF is densolite, anyway?). Anyone have any problems with their SDs?
Besides the wood core on the Prophets, I like the idea of a bit more sidecut for the occasional necessary groomer.
Thoughts?
More on me....
Mid 20s, 5'6" 175 pounds. Agressive skier. No style points. My "everyday" ski is a Volkl 724 Pro. Looking for something softer for pow set-up, but far from the blue noodle. More like a medium-to-soft flex, I suppose.
Thanks!
