As a frequent River skier, I'd like to see much more done in the way of glades. It's not bad now when they are open (which wasn't often this past year), but I think the glade skiing could be greatly expanded without too much effort, just some strategic cutting and thinning here and there. For example, how about from 3 Mile trail down to Lazy River to connect with Last Tango? Or skier's right coming down under the Barker Lift? A lot more could be done over in the Oz area, too. This would provide opportunities for better skiers to get away from the masses. Look how much Jay Peak improved when it expanded the glades. How about it?

Razor . . . welcome to this board and feel free to post this question and other questions on SRMB as well. Alex, myself, other staff as well as the lregulars will chime in.

Not that your glade locations are secrets, but please don't give away some of the "goods" online. If we get some natural snow next year, we'll have to meet up and I'll show you some of the unmarked stuff that I know.

There certainly is ample acreage to increase SR's 'cut' glades, however I'd imagine the lack of natural snowfall is a major factor in ASC not making this investment.
