Steve, I'm wondering if you will only be offering Other Mountain Passes from the Tramside or if you'll again offer them from Bonaventure Quad lodge? I personally have always preferred parking at Bonaventure lodge and find it a pain to have to go the Tramside.

Are you in the right thread? There is no lodge at Jay Peak called Bonaventure Quad Lodge.

I think I know what you're talking about Bob. I recall a lunch/ticket package they were offering in the spring where you had to purchase the pass at Tramside even though Stateside was open and staffed to service the Jet (only lift running at the time).

I'm guessing that may be just limited IT infrastructure at Stateside?

It's a good question. For most day trip visitors, Stateside is the way to go in terms of convenience.

I've always had to go to customer service for receiving special tickets such as ski club tickets pre-purchased. But I believe the "other season passholder" discount used to be applied Stateside. That was for a discount. Comp or other such ticket redemption has always been done Tramside at Customer Service. Kind of a pain having to go over there just for a ticket, especially given the parking lot changes. That is indeed a bummer if you need to go to Customer Service even for the discount. That certainly doesn't help the parking situation over there at all given people that might normally go Stateside are adding to the parking issues to get their ticket.

So I guess that is a good question.... when will the Tramside parking issues be resolved and is any additional parking planned for Stateside? The construction and new hotel really messed up the parking lot at Tramside which was a bummer.

What is going on with the Tram House at the summit. It looks like you have been replacing the windows but not much else. Why is the soda machine still out of order? It has been out of order for as long as I can remember. The rumor is that it is not really out of order but just empty because no one wants to fill it. It would be great addition if that machine was stocked and also add a machine that dispensed coffee and hot chocolate. The eb5 web site talks about a mountain top restaurant. Any details on this?

The bypass road has been closed for a couple years now and it looks like it will be permanently closed. Plans talk about a new entrance road where the new fire house is located and a new customer service building along this road. Any time line for this?

All the new housing being built in prime locations, along Chalet Meadows and the golf course is all eb-5 housing. The housing being built for the rest of us is located at the bottom of Grammy Jay. Why is this?

Forgive me  I never noticed the name over the door. I just go there.

Just yankin' yer chain, Abubob.

The lacking IT infrastructure at Stateside is a great point. Last season I bought a 581 card thinking how convenient it would be. How wrong I was. The "reload online" option wasn't working until after Christmas (though that turned out to be a great feature and I got some great prices on late season tickets). I was informed by the nice ladies at Stateside that I could not purchase multiple days on my card unless I went to Tramside and would have to stand in line every day to get my reload. The really annoying part was that I had bought a three-day pass for my wife, which was pre-loaded. So while she and the rest of the posse (all season pass-holders) were merrily buckling their boots, I was standing in the Christmas Week line-up waiting to pay for my daily re-load. BTW, the nice ladies told me several times that they "were getting a second computer" but I never saw that appear.

So, what is your question, SBR?

Pretty much what folks are asking above: Will the IT infrastructure at Stateside be upgraded so that all ticket services are available there?

Further to JPT's question about Sky Haus: will the apartment be made available to the general public again? That was a very cool thing when it was. I recall there was a contest last season (Valentine's Day?) and someone won an overnight stay at the summit.

oddly,

Even though folks had to go to Tramside for the lunch/ticket package, I was able to redeem my VSAA voucher at stateside the day I saw you there in May.
