You guys and gals should really consider going to Steamboat. I went last year. What a hoot. You get to hobnob with and race against former Olympians - Maher, Kidd, Roffe, Kitt, Lewis, and others I ferget..
. The post-race party was just a gas too. I posted photos, clippings and videos from last year here
Our AZ family/friends team counts the 6 highest scorers:
Team Ranking = 940 out of 2927 (32nd percentile)
Last year, our ranking was 777 out of 3535 teams (21st percentile)
Our club team counts the 15 highest scorers:
Team Ranking = 197 out of 1418 teams (14th percentile) with only 12 scorers - 'cmon, let's get more racers out there!
Last year, our ranking was 178 out of 1529 teams (12th percentile)
While the nationals qualifiers are going, you've still got a couple more weeks of racing left - get out there!
The Pat's team is not to be neglected, consisting of:
PAR1648
David G Parsons 6 West Dover, VT8.41 ROG517
Bob Rogowsky 6 Nashua, NH8.29 DAV2075
Ben Davis 7 Hooksett, NH6.71 HAL1512
Erik J Hall 6 Hooksett, NH6.41 BOU632
Scott M Bourcier 5 Bedford, NH6.07 ROB1806
Peter K Robson 5 Keene, NH2.61 SCH7285
Charles Schuessler Mont Vern
on, NH
they have placed 520 out of 2927 teams nationwide (18th percentile) versus 708 out of 3535 teams last season (20th percentile), a 10% national ranking improvement over last year. Congrats racers! You can read more about them in the Pat's threads.
You can race too. Just show up at a course and go for it, no qualifications necessary.
Way to go AZ!
