Foggy with on and off drizzle and some great snow. Probably the best day of my 5 days this year (am I really saying that about a rainy day in the middle of January - what a year!). Snow was nice and soft but not slushy. I was really worried on the two hour drive up about a glaze of freezing rain or total slush but neither was present. Still firm enough to get a couple of boot-out carves. One of the short expert runs was totally bumped - nice and soft so even I looked good. The main expert trail also had some bumps on the side. All of the other trails were in great shape with very few bare spots. Intermediate trails were great cruisers or carvers - whatever's to your liking.

Unfortunately, tomorrow looks like some real rain. Stay away after the first freeze until they have a chance to resurface as the snow is extremely wet (imagine that) and will probably freeze solid..
