I am happy.... Holiday weekend and no lines except on Saturday. Sunday and today were ski-up-to-the-chair days, for the most part. Sunday had a 30 second wait here and there. Today the mountain was like a midweek non-holiday! Conditions were excellent. I am not kidding. It was a little cold, but warmer than Sunday. Could the cold day really keep that many people away?
The best snow of the day was on Onteora, top to bottom, because they hit that with new artificial stuff all day yesterday and today, and Seneca, where they blew all day. Winnisook was still sweet from yesterday.
Compared to last year - hey, compared to most weekends at Bell - this one was wonderful.
