Resort or Ski Area: Belleayre

Conditions: Packed powder, frozen granular

Trip Report: I am impressed how good the conditions were considering how rough this season has been. The trails that were open, generally had decent coverage, and very few bare spots. The new high speed quad is a delight, but also adds a lot more traffic to trails on that side of the mountain, which showed the wear earlier in the day. Towards the end of the day the black trails were sheets of ice. We then did laps on the triple to the mid station. The blues, Wanatuska and Mohawk, had held up well and were fun to play on. Belleayre will be our home mountain again this season.

Let us know if you do. It would be a good excuse for a AZ day at Belleayre :-D

When I get back from utah and conditions have improved a little, and it looks like they will after next week, I think a little gathering is in order. Belleayre has the best bar around too. Still looking forward to hitting Cathedral, which I didn't last year.
