I am beat. Tired. Great snow! The mountain got about 10 inches yesterday afternoon-night. It skied a little heavier than it felt, though. It compressed quickly. Even though we got on the lift at 9:00, when they "open", there was no such thing as first tracks. It was already skied out. Instructors, ski patrol, others that got there earlier and just hopped on - everyone cut it up good. It was hard under the soft stuff. It was fairly difficult to ski in the afternoon when everything was crudded up.
The good thing is that this might carry through for a few weeks if it doesn't warm up.
I forgot my camera.
Superchief broke again for about 45 minutes in the late afternoon.
Lift lines: yes. Not really really bad if you played them right. Lodge: crowded; but I have seen it worse.
Bottom line - it was great to have some real snow!
