Report

I arrived at 12:00 exactly. i met my friends at the bottom near the lodge. apparently one and a half top to bottom run(s) where there. By that i mean Big Cheif all the way down, and then the crossover from Big Cheif to Lower Comp to the bottom. Had a great time skiing. This was my first time back on snow since may so it felt good. Also i had time to test out my new equiptment. 07 K2 fujatives. they ski great. lower comp was veeery icy. big cheif at the top had a nice 2 inches of powder8) while lower big cheif was just ice. so very varying conditions depending where you are. they closed down at 3:30 due to wind!:angry:

so we stayed in the lodge for a bit and had the famous chili that everyone loves. in general skiing was good. B+. ill be back next weekend where hopefully there will be more terrain, less wind and more skiing time.

Unfortunately I think the Wednesday weather event could put a damper on terrain expansion plans. Word from management was no snowmaking until that weather system is through, so could be a few more weeks until we get some other runs to mix in there. With the freeze coming Thurs/Fri that could set-up some nice solid conditions.....but being 5 days away I'll be optimistic at this point :spin:

I would say overall conditions were decent for this time of year up there with 0 natural snow (although it did spit all day for the most part).
