Berkshire East, March 2, 2009
3 to 4 inches of light new snow on top of groomed frozen granular
The major snowstorm that left over a foot in places close to the coast struck Berkshire East with only a glancing blow. Still, what we got was great skiing Monday, with just enough snow to float on if you got going fast enough. All the major trails are open, and some of the glades had enough freshies to ski if you were careful. Crowds were very light, and there were clean lines to be found even after lunch.
Skiing should be great through the week.
