Word on the street is they're opening for daily skiing starting tomorrow, Saturday 12/20. New snow should help push along the opening of much of the terrain. Night skiing should start sometime after new years.

Sounds great. I'll be heading up there in the next few days to check it out. Any idea which trails will be open this weekend/early next week? I realize it will depend on how much snow they get out of this storm & Sunday's storm but have they made any projections based on snowmaking over the last few days/weeks?

I know this has been said before, but BEast really needs to have an updated trails/conditions page on their website that shows what is/will be open & which trails they've done snowmaking & grooming on.

Trails will most likely be Chief and Comp. Depending how the little storm hit earlier in the week more could be open, not sure. Will have to wait to get reports from the hill tomorrow.

Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be a priority to get any kind of the conditions page up on their website. Their office manager, who was a computer savy guy left a number of years back and it's been all down hill. If Roy (owner) was online himself he might get the hint that people really want to know what's open. You can always call, they generally have their snow phone updated or at least someone in the office can tell you what's open.

I'll be there Sunday, White Leedom helmet (with a ski the east sticker on the front) with a red coat with a white cross on the back, most likely dropping one knee on the Scotty Bobs.

Anyone know if the Jan 5th date is accurate for night skiing? I love to go up there with the kids, cheap night out and tons of fun when conditions are good.

Word is night skiing with start Friday January 2nd.

Excellent day today with powder bumps for the masses (or at least the small group of people who made it up to the hill).
