Jiminy Peak's Web site states they received a foot of new snow today. I looked at the Intellicast radar loop and it seems the Berkshires got the most out of today's clipper. Anyone in the area have a report? Better yet, anyone been up to Jiminy or the Beast today?

Can't understand why you don't want to try out Berkshire East.
My typical local ski partner, my father-in-law, is from Southwest CT and has an extra 45 minutes of drive time than me. Jiminy is about 20 minutes closer and when you're traveling 2 1/2 hours, that 20 minutes can make the difference. We're both big Jiminy fans as with the 5 minute six pack we can get in a lot more vertical than we could at the Beast. It's all economics really.

If BE is still open this Friday, I'll be there. Will you?

I have never skied the Berks, but I hope all you powder hounds have a wonderful day there today....

dare I give you a hint about what could be shaping up later in the week??

In this winter of the "abnormal", we could go out with a bang

But I won't jinx it....

Do tell. There are a lot of rumblings about a good snowfall Tuesday night and maybe again Friday. Again, if anyone is game for meeting up at Berkshire East on Friday, see this thread:

Based on the forecasts, it looks like Friday has the potential to be a great day at the Beast!

As soon as I hung up the phone after setting a 3/17 cleaning appointment with my dentist about a month ago I thought "Watch, we'll have a major storm and I'll be in the dentist's chair." Now, add to that the fact that I can't get a day off this week means we'll get 20" or more. Enjoy it on Wednesday! Get out early!

Oh stop yer whining. . .it's not that bad. . .I should be able to get out Tuesday or Wednesday night.

Jimme
