Best and Worst East Coast base lodges?

Perhaps just a straight up Gondola? Thought I read that an old Big Sky Gondola has been brought over to Sugarloaf

The Mountain Room and Lounge is not bad but the other lodge is a dump.

That's true, I forgot about the Mountain Room and Lounge there. Not only is the other lodge a dump, but it's just too damn small to be even remotely useful.
