Best base lodge for advanced skiers at K?

Of the five base lodges at Killington, which is the best for advanced skiers from a logistic perspective?
To me, I would say the Bear Mountain Lodge, because (1) it's closer than K1, Showshed or Ramshead from Route 100, (2) the immediate slopes are blacks/blues, which will hopefully drive away novice skiers, and (3) Skyepeak express quad will easily get you to the other mountains, and (4) you don't have to go through flats like Skyeship.
Any other opinions?

1. Bear
2. K Peak
3. Snowshed
4. Ramshead
5. Skyeship......I simply can't stand skiing down to it, no matter how convenient it is.

No. Bear sucks these days. The bar is dead and no longer serves decent food. It's overrun with park rats. The KBL is where advanced skiers park unless they're driving in from Plymouth or Woodstock and use Bear because it's more convenient.

Truth be told, it's been almost ten years since I skied at K. Bear was the place to be 'back in the day'. I'd probably still park there though considering I would be coming from Woodstock area.

I need to get back to Killington next season; it's been too long. Maybe next year I'll get a voucher or two through my ski club.
