i dont think they have a choice in grooming outer limits at times, it cant get pretty unruly. I do think they over groom it but it was really really good the last few times i was there around bmmc. Again, i'm not there as often as some so maybe i just got lucky but it was nice down skiers right, top to bottom.
I haven't seen skier's right groomed once under POWDR, maybe their first year for BMMC. And as a result it always has good lines.

I'm ok with them doing it half and half when needed, they need the downhill capacity when the mountain is frozen solid. But it was every single week last year after the first couple weeks of January. 2 feet of snow on Friday? Gotta groom it for Saturday. Just ridiculous. (Although that did make hitting 62mph a bit easier.)

Did they groom the sides of Outer Limits or just the center? I only noticed the center getting the groomer, but I was not there every week.
They groom the skier's left half. By the end of the day, there might be a line or two next to the chair.

Never, ever grooming a trail is tough here in the East. Last President's week was a total wipeout of any trail that did not see a groomer. Should they really leave them closed for that long or groom them? After all, you always have all of the woods never groomed.
As mentioned, Killington has enough terrain that they can live with it. Escapade is a great mid-April trail (after the trees are done) until it gets wiped out, but it was terrible last year because they groomed it mid-March.
