Sand in the Vaseline - Talking Heads
Agreed. I'm a HUGE fan of Rush. this is the first tour I missed in CT since Power Windows. I added Chronicles to the list because its format is different from most. there are 2 songs from every album (except Presto, would've been nice if they had left off Passage to Bangkok in favor of Superconductor) most "Best-of's" contain 5-6 "signature"songs, then a few radio-friendly tracks, and finally, some throw-ins. Chronicles is the perfect album for the Non-fan to be introduced to the band. After their appetite is whetted, then its easy to move-on to the more "popular" albums. My favorites are almost always the less-known. Kid Gloves, Natural Science, In the End, Countdown, etc...
I am sort of biased w/Rush. Not much that I don't get something out of. Even their newest, which certainly is not a favorite is pretty solid. Though this latest tour played WAY too much of the new. I didn't mind it as much as many who were starting lose a little interest in a strealk of about 5 or 6 new ones in a row.
Some of my lesser-known favorites: Available Light, Middletown Dreams, Totem, Best I Can...
I like S&A a lot, but I agree that it can become a little tedious when a show is really heavy on new material.
Hmmm.... looks like I didn't go obscure enough, okay... Face-Up, Making Memories, Between the Wheels (Awesome live on the 30th anniv. tour BTW) Fountain of Lamneth.

All great choices/there are no bad choices... 2112 in it's entirity may be my all time favorite.
Change of topic: Any Roger Clyne/Refreshments fans?
You mean Rush released albums after "Fly By Night"?) Only one I've ever listened to after I bought it back in the day......
This does qualify as as a "Best Of" worth having being that most...maybe all....of Squeeze albums are currently out of print here in the US. I have their whole catalogue on vinyl and am waiting for Rhino to pick up their albums for re-issue.
This must be a Rush thread - I like it!
Roger Clyne anf his former Refreshments are nothing like Rush, but excellent in their own rights.
I just read that LZ is going to get back together for one concert, didn't get the details.
I don't usually like "Best Of" or "Greatest Hits" preferring live albums which are typically the same thing.
I'm with Paul on that note. However here are two I enjoy.
