Best ski shops in Lake Placid area?

Maui North. Since Mountain and Border Town closed, they and Cunninghams are the only 2 in LP for Alpine.

Check out The Cottage on Silver Lake for an ueber cozy bar with reasonably cheap eats. Outdoor deck with a wood chimney, wood burning stove inside, great views and sunsets.

It’s Mirror Lake Moe, but you’re right the Cottage is a nice place.

Senior moment, I've always called it silver lake, I have no idea why.

If you're going north on I-87, you can stop in Queensbury (Exit 19 on the Northway) and hit Inside Edge and Sports Page on the way up (they're both about 4 mins from the highway).
