Keeping the drive reasonable (must be under 3 hrs each way) from the Providence area...we were planning on hitting up Sunapee and being on the hill by 8 am, but I'm leery now due to all the rain I'm guessing they received and the predicted crowds.

Crotched? Already did Beast, that's not happening this week. Gunstock? Waterville? (kinda far, no?)

I think Gunstock and Waterville would be beyond the 3 hr limit. they are for me, and I come out of Central CT.

Pat's? WaWa? Mt. Sneaux?

You could get to Gunstock in about 3 hours from Prov but I don't know what conditions might be like. The Sunapee snow report is saying they are 100% open. We're kind of wondering what things might be like as well.

Pat's? WaWa? Mt. Sneaux?

We are WaWa passholders but I don't want to go there on a weekend day...already been there too many times this year as it is! Just came back from N Conway and a few days at bretton woods/wildcat and I can't see driving back to NH for pat's peak...

Mt Sneaux is a possibility...already been there this year but might not be a bad idea again...we can make it to brattleboro in 2 hrs flat, so it just makes it under the 3 hr limit.

Really, sunapee would be the way to go..it took 2:15 each way the last time. GODDAMNED NIAR!

man what a depressing trip i just took through s. vermont snow reports. Snow only has groomed stuff open. same with magic. hardpack and frzn/lgrnr is the rule on conditions. Okemo and Bromley are reporting 100% open but come on, the bump runs have to be a NAZZZZZZZTEEEEE and trees, forget about it. killington is probably too far for you but it looks to be the closest place that escaped the majority of the rain. They are still reporting pwdr/pp conditions.

Sunapee seems to handle the aftermath of niar pretty well. BTW, you can get $15 off on w/e and holidays if you show your WA WA season pass at guest services, it's one of the perks they have.

BTW, keep it secret, i don't want it too crowded this w/e

I don't want to get a reputation as a pimp for Ragged but it might be worth a look. I was there Thursday and while it was boilerplate it was edgeable (see TR) and prolly will be better after the groomers get after it for a couple of days.

Best of all they can't seem to attract a crowd and it's relatively cheap.
