Best thermal gear for skiing for a sweaty person?

I'm going skiing in Colorado in January and I'm looking for the best type of gear to keep me warm. Almost every time I go skiing I get really really cold in my extremities (especially my feet). I also sweat a lot and I think that contributes to feeling the cold.

Basically, should I choose cotton, wool or polypropylene thermals?
Any other suggestions about how to stay warm on the slopes would also be much appreciated!

Thanks

I was thinking the same thing, Steve. This is the best that I've seen.
