'Cause soon GM is going to stop making them. About time they made a good decision.

I think it's a shame they're going to stop production. The H2 and H3 are jokes. The H2 is just a Suburban with better ground clearance. There is nothing about them that makes them deserving of the Hummer badge.
The H1 on the other hand employed serious offroad technology... self inflating and pressure monitoring tires, fully independent rear suspension, Torsen differentials at the front, middle and rear... etc. etc. It was a Humvee with a paint job, really.
The H1 has nothing in common with the H2 or H3 besides mild body resemblance. They don't sell because they are rediculously expensive... once was around $80 grand and now up over $100.
Oh well, this was the right call business wise probably but it still sucks. I would love to own one of those things.

For now, guess I'll have to dream about getting the Toyota FJ Cruiser. No where near as expensive and still looks impressiveI know, I know, it's not a Hummer, but I like:

I would have a place to store an H1, I would have a slight problem affording it though. I hear those FJ's are real popular down in NZ.
I'd settle for an Land Rover Series III or Defender, personally. That would be a great approach vehicle.
Chris I said:i got a hummer once...
