Big Sky. Presidents Week 2014

Just wanted to share some pics. Words won't do it justice. I'll just say if you get the gold pass for Loon, Sunday River and Sugarloaf then get yourself out to Big Sky. Lots of powder, steep, glades etc. Not a ton of nightlife, but you are here to ski.

Looks beautiful!! I heard they had a power failure one day and some people were stuck on the lifts for upto 90 minutes. Did you have any such issues?

Two lifts died in the middle of the week. People were stuck on them for at least 90 minutes. They had to fire up the diesel to get them off.

Of all the places I've skied out west Big Sky/Moonlight is my favorite.

Great deal for Loon and Sunday River skiers (Sugarloaf too?). I would love to see more areas team up like this. Was looking at a trail map and that place is huge. I would imagine it could not be fully covered in a week let alone a month. Definitely a stop on my future western tour.

If you bring the kids, Yellowstone is only an hour away. Very different park in the winter and no crowds.
