BC skiing (actually more like XC skiing) at Bigelow Hollow in Union CT today. Conditions were superb, I dunno 12-15" of powder. We followed someone else's track for about half the day, the rest of the day we were first tracks (which is a ton of work!). The weather was perfect, 25 degrees or so. We were out about 3 hours mostly on the fireroads, but I ventured off trail for a bit and found some really nice chutes which will be a lot of fun with a more solid base. After looking around with an eye towards tree skiing, I think there's a lot to be leveraged out there.
Can you find a better view than this, I think not...
Heading down (slowly)
Taking a break at the shelter on Breakneck
Yep, this is fun
