16-20 feet my biggest ones, gives you just enough time for one or two thoughts to pass through your mind, usually for me its cuss words love the drops, but it seems like you have to search for the good ones here in the east. rumor has it there are some good ones at hunter? huter locals?

Nice little drops in the Highlands area, maybe 8-12'.

There are a few on the left shoulder of Hellgate.

There are a few on Cliff.

Some on Bleeker Street and the the right side of upper Racer's.

There's one on Jimmy Heuga too.

I found a few in the Ravines...not on purpose though.

10 - 15 ft. Looking to go bigger this year.

What BS factor should we apply to this thread? Half of stated amount plus 1/10th of age?

That would put me at a 10 1/2 ft drop (15/2 + 31/10).

I dunno...I mean none of the numbers anyone is "throwing around" are anywhere near record setting.

Unless you're an inch tall.

If anyone is fudging these numbers I think "swinging" anything is a poor choice of words.

18-24.
Inches.
Accidently.

Even with the BS factor, that's still barely more than a couple of steps. I like to keep my skis on the snow. And my knees out of my eye sockets.

When I was in college in southern Vermont there were still a couple of gelande events around that me and my friends would do. That nana second that you experience free fall is what gets your heart pumping and an easy excuse to drink a beer or a big cup of glu wine. I don't remember anyone ever measuring anything so maybe it was only a couple of feet.....

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of drops, and don't really seek them out, but if there's a drop along some woods run I'm doing, or if getting to some area I want to ski requires it, I have no problem with hitting them , my biggest is probably around 10-15 feet.
