Epic waist deep powder!!! All right, maybe someone took a picture of me wiping and just titled it a ridiculous amount so it looked like I was skiing some steep and deep. Just don't pay attention to the trees and you'll be fine.

Did you win the best pic last year. Looks like you have a few nominees this year too.

 You should have rotated it before you cropped it, then you wouldn't have those angled whit spaces on the corners. ;)

Mad River Glen sometime? I can drag you and the CLITS through woods, powder, and awful hucks to flat landings the whole day.

well that would be ideal so keep me posted.

all day, not so much. flat landings? never. unless you want to see a grown man cry.

I can see some of my tracks in those pics....

Black was epic on Monday. It was my first trip up there and I could not have picked a better day. Second car in the lot; summit open! We got first or second tracks on every trail. Face shots on White Knuckle, waist deep on Carter Notch Glades! Loved the cliffs. Black is a great hidden gem after a big storm. My buddy even managed to break his thumb!

Holy crap, nice pics Austin! Black is such a photogenic mountain due to its southern exposure. Add in some boot to knee deep in the trees and Black is a great place to have a camera.

My favorite shot of the group. Very nice camera work!
That picture was taken just before my third face shot of the day. You can see the snow approaching my face, LOL.

Love the huckability factor at Black. They have more in bounds cliffs than most mountains twice Black's size.

What are the settings on your camera for these shots, by the way? Default or do you tweak them? My shots came out pretty good but yours are so much more crisp and vibrant than mine.
