Date skied: March 28th, 2008 from 7-9pm
Surface conditions: Powder, 4" new
Weather: light snow and 31F
Warren and I arrived in Rumford Center in time for a few hours of night skiing and we had a great time skiing in some late season powder. This was my first time night skiing in Maine. We took in 6 top to bottom runs including a bit of glade skiing on Allagash Glade, the snow is very light and fluffy unlike the wet stuff that we saw south of Bethel.
Lower Androscoggin:
Allagash Glade:
Black Mountain:
Black Mountain is a nice night spot and a great bargain with lift tickets costing $37 for the two of us for a four hour ticket good from 5-9pm.
