Hey All,
I'm back from another fun session at Blue mountain. Business today was pretty dead so I got out of work a little early and was on the snow by 3:20PM..it was 45 degrees under Cloudy skys. I first skied Razors edge which was mad applesauce..which is fun conditions but you have to respect the big piles. Then they groomed Paradise and I skied that..slow and deliberate turns of course.. Then another run on Razors followed by a freshly groomed Lazy mile..the whole mile..the lower park was mad crispy and they were preparing for Tuesday Night Fever in the Sidewinder Park. I saw Skier112 with a Bib on practicing some rails and boxes. They never regroomed Switchback so it was mad applesauce yo!!!!..what what..
Challenge also had hero snow and all the turkey tuckers were in their element..when I was cranking turns..a dude on rentals flew by me in a turkey tuck so I straightlined and passed that mo-fo on Falls..Falls had a nice lip on the left side for getting mad steezy air. I didn't ski Barneys Bumps but tomorrow when it's 60 degrees they are going to be sa weet. I finished my session with a few laps on Paradise which was fast, smooth and carvable...the important thing was I didn't get nabbed by the redcoats..they were too busy responding to a guy who caught an edge on the right side of Razors and went into the woods..I didn't see the accident but I rode the 6-pack with some eyewitnesses. All in all it was a fun session..I skied 12 runs in 2 hours for 12,600 vertical feet. On the way home, I stopped at Grumpys for some beer and ribs..and pretty soon, I'm going out to sing some Karaoke. I practiced with some Busta Rhymes on the way home...I'll be back out tomorrow for some more spring conditions in February..anybody else????
