Hey All,
I'm back from a fun skiing session at Blue mountain. I arrived around 3:25PM and there were less than 100 cars in the parking lot with a temperature of around 36 degrees. I skied the first two runs alone..the snow was pretty smooth on everything but the bottom of Main Street with some granuler sugar snow..mad sweet and low. Pretty decent conditions and a heck of alot better than opening day. Halfway up my second liftride I saw Atomic Jeff on the trail and I waited for him at the top.
A-Jeff and I alternated between Easy Out to Vista to Midway to Lower Mainstreet and Main Street. We didn't ski the Come Around park but were entertained by the jibhonks. I saw one guy do a backflip off the little booter..mad steezy yo. As it got dark and the lights were on visibility improved..we saw Matt Reynard working on his GS turns. I liked the snow on the left side of upper Main Street and the right side of Midway the best..lots of cushion for the pushing..lol. I ended up skiing 16 runs total for 12,800 vertical feet and I quit at 6:20PM. I gave A-Jeff my skeeze to wax and sharpen so tomorrow evening I'll be on my Elans. Anyway I'm happy to be back in the routine of going to work..skiing 3 hours..late dinner..internet posting and surfing and then a steezy night of sleep.
Blue was totally legit tonight!!!!
