Hey All,

I'm back from another fun session at Blue mountain. I arrived at 345PM and Atomic Jeff had my skis freshly tuned up. Temperatures were in the mid 30s and there were more people than yesterday but no liftlines. The snow was mostly scrapped off sections and piles of sugar snow. They blew snow overnight on Vista, Lazy Mile, Tuts Lane, and a little bit of Barneys Bumps. Atomic Jeff got a few pictures of me on Barneys bumps..no GOOSESTOMPING..just hacking my way down..lol..Toast was in the house as well as concussion Ted. Concussion Ted is a celebrity due to his appearance on TruTVs Ski Patrol.

While it was a fun session..I found the conditions to be worse than yesterday..the sugar snow is getting dryer and deeper..almost like sand. Tonight does not look like a good night for snowmaking with high humidity but the long range forecast looks good and I give Blue a 50/50 chance of having Lazy Mile open for Sunday. I ended up skiing 13 runs for 10,400 vert and pulled out of the lot at 610PM...After two days of skiing at Stowe followed by two days skiing Blue I'm looking forward to a rest day tomorrow and I'll be back at Blue Friday afternoon..touch the sky..Blue mountain..

Here is a crappy picture of me in the bumps..

Looks like a decently long stretch of bumps. A bit far apart, but still very cool that they offer something. Gotta give a nod to Blue for that.

I'm guessing the bumps last for between 400 and 500 vert..of the 800 vertical foot run..I told AtomicSkier to take a picture specifically for the bump heads on AZ...

BTW - you need some clown poles. That pole in your right hand looks about 8 feet long...
