Resort or Ski Area: Blue Mountain Ski Area

Conditions: Spring

Trip Report: I arrived at Blue a little before 9am. I had to take a con-call at 9, so I was forced to park at the Summit lodge since I don't have good cell reception in the Valley. At 10 after my call was over, I booted up in the empty VIP room (which has a portable beer keg tap)?? I got on the snow at 10:16. In the morning the snow was nice and soft, with out being slushy. First run was Chute to Main Street and cut through the lower park to the 6 pack. Challenge and Razor's were real nice in the AM, but really didn't ski it after 12. Lazy Mile had seen better days. The snow on Dreamweaver looked a little less white then last week. Paradise was super today. No redcoats anywhere so numerous high-speed runs were had.

I ran into GSS and Zaldon around 2, I was pretty shot by then, but skied three runs with them and we had some fun with the camera on Paradise for stoke.

I did a photo tour of Blue today, since I had remembered someone mentioning they had always wondered what Blue looked like. I'll post those pics up later.

Here's some random and not so random shots from today that didn't make it into the photo tour. Overall today was really fun and I got in 21 runs for 22,000 feet. I can't wait to go back tomorrow.
