Blueberry Yum Yum!

Saturday we went picking blueberries at Tom Haines Blueberry Farm in Pemberton, NJ:

Sunday, picked berries in the wild at Sam's Point in NY:

And today when I got home from work, my wife suprised me with one of my favorite meals:

There's something poetic in that first picture, between the blueberries, the partial headline about financial ruin, adn the guy throwing the keg.

Blueberry pirogies

Never had them with blueberries...but have with cheese, raisins and cabbage. The cabbage ones really get the ol' "internal crock pot" fired up. :smile:

I love fresh blueberries! They're on in Michigan right now as well as Sweet Cherries!
I love summer fruits!!!

I need to take the kids to pick blueberries...if it stops raining again. We used to pick wild ones in the swampy areas of the lake where where my grandparents have a cottage. Fun times with my cousins.
