Boston Globe-- Best skiing in New England

It was funny...when I looked at the photo gallery earlier today I thought that the picture for MRG showed two snowboarders...

when i first clicked the link, i was snickering to myself "this is going to be amusing," but that list pretty much nailed it. i would only have some minor differences on a few points:

best night skiing: wawa for metro area skiers hands down, but i would find it hard to believe any night skiing in new england could be 2k verts on a gondi at stowe.

best early season snow: you gotta hand it to kmart, top to bottom on kpeak is always impressive and far and away the best early game in town.

best back country experience: depends what type of "backcountry experience" you are looking for. tuckerman is definitely "the" place but if you value peace and quiet, there are better places and better experiences out there. but tuckerman is the place that every skier should see at least once in their life.

just minor issues, the guy pretty much nailed it.

I noticed that when I was looking at that yesterday. I really wanted to send the Globe an e-mail about it, but it will make for a good laugh for the more observant folks out there.
